Visit to Shenzhen startup Khadas
We visited Khadas, a Shenzhen startup that has attracted attention for its unique single-board computer and other products, with executives from Synergy Creation Corporation, a crowdfunding business.
−First meeting of three companies to discuss future prospects for the Kurafan business–
Khadas in Shenzhen, home to many startup companies called China’s Silicon Valley.
LEAGUE paid attention to Khadas because it had attracted attention on the overseas crowdfunding site “kickstarter” and because an ultra-compact mini PC with the same image had attracted attention and gained a lot of support on a Japanese crowdfunding site.
We met the co-founder of Khadas when We attended the Canton Fair, an international trade fair in China, and we hit it off during our conversation.
We were then given the very exciting opportunity to visit Khadas headquarters, on October 20.
Khadas is a manufacturer of electrical equipment, but they use crowdfunding for development, and there are many possibilities to collaborate with us and the business of Synergy Creation Corporation, which accompanied us to the exhibition.
We explained the business of Synergy Creation Inc. and shared the business model of our company’s Crowdfunding business, in which we discussed products and the future prospects of each other’s companies.
The members shared a meal together and exchanged various opinions.
Differences in selling products on the Internet between China and Japan.
Specifically, we explained to each other that there are differences in the use of SNS to sell products, and we were surprised at the differences in our business culture．
The exchange of opinions on sales expansion was very lively, with participants discussing the unique commercial distribution system unique to Japan in the offline market, and the complex intertwining of various parties involved, which makes it difficult to capture the market.
We thoroughly discussed the differences and advantages of Khadas’ products over competing products distributed in Japan, and as a result, it was a very meaningful time for both parties to get a real sense of each other’s future prospects in the Japanese market.
